Get a Quote

Each project is priced individually to give you the best value.

Here’s how to get a quote!

  1. Fill out this contact form!

  2. Fill out a questionnaire over email to tell me more about your project and email me 1,000 words from your manuscript. (If this makes you uncomfortable, I can sign an NDA first.)

  3. Schedule a consultation call with me to get to know me and find out if Catt Editing is a good fit for your project!

  4. Sample edit? If you want a sample edit, I can do it at this point! Let me know!

  5. I will send a quote giving you the proposed rate, timeline, and start date.

Why not charge per word/page/hour?

Each editing project will have a slightly different rate depending on many factors: genre, deadline, service, word count, difficulty of text, and special needs from the client. To match your needs the best way I can, I price each project differently to give you the best value.

For example, 10 pages of references may take more or less time for me to edit than 10 pages of prose depending on the service you request. Rather than charging per page, I charge according to your needs.

I will not spring a higher price on you at the end.

If something happens where more work and/or time is needed than before thought, I will contact you ASAP to let you know about the possible changes so we can discuss the best course of action.
