Meet the Team

Alison

I live in a town in the hills outside Glasgow, Scotland, with my son. I studied religion and philosophy at the universities of Lancaster and London, respectively. I love cycling, learning languages, and exploring other cultures. I lived in Japan for eleven years where, in addition to editing, I taught yoga and studied tea ceremony.

Genres: memoir, romance, relationship-based fiction (often called women’s fiction), self-help, business, and children’s middle grade fiction (ages 9 to 12)

Developmental Editors

Chelsea

I studied world religions and Greek and Roman studies at Vassar College, and I’ve since enjoyed an eclectic career as a writer, pianist, music director, bartender, deckhand, property manager, and more! I live in Seattle, Washington, with a wonderful husband and an evil cat. Outside of work, I’m committed to trail running, traveling, and eating homemade focaccia (preferably all at the same time).

Genres: Christian, memoir, literary nonfiction, self-help, health/wellness, business, finance, Bible studies, religion, food and beverages, travel, sports, performing arts, magical realism, dystopian fiction

Line/Copy Editors

Kristy

I live in Washington with two corgis who think I work for them. (I probably do.) I have a degree in English lit from the University of Washington. When I’m not editing, I’m walking, reading, writing, buying antiques I don’t need, gardening, or growing berries in my backyard. (And sometimes I play pickleball.) A mom of two young adult sons (one in college), I cook Sunday dinners and Venmo cash as needed.

Genres: memoir, self-help, lifestyle, health/wellness, metaphysics/spirituality, fantasy, mystery, literary fiction, women’s lit

Jordan

I live outside Atlanta and have degrees in English and communication, and I love helping authors polish their work. My hobbies include reading (of course!), painting, traveling, playing with my dogs, taking Pilates classes, and watching my son’s baseball and basketball games. I have a special heart for southern fiction and memoirs but enjoy reading and editing just about anything.

Genres: general fiction, fantasy, romance, memoir, inspirational, Christian, academic/nonfiction, poetry

Proofreaders

Adrienna

I'm a military spouse who has enjoyed the opportunity to live all over the world. My three kids were not only born in three different countries but on three different continents! I love experiencing new places, cultures, and especially foods. Nine times out of ten you will find me curled up somewhere reading a book with a snack and my emotional support half-empty Starbucks coffee.

Genres: Christian, self-help, business, memoirs, fiction, romance, wellness, diet/exercise

And our team is always growing!

If anyone sticks out to you, let me know in your initial email and I’ll see if she’s available.

Not sure what type of editing you need? Check out this blog post or contact me to tell me about your book!
