What program do you use?

I use Adobe InDesign for all formatting projects to get that professional book feel. Self-publishing does not mean it looks unprofessional.

How does it work?

After we sign a contract together, I’ll send you a questionnaire to get your design preferences. This includes things like font, chapter page design, placement of the page number, and lots of other details. I give tips throughout the questionnaire on why you might want to choose different options., so if you’re not sure what you prefer because you’ve never thought about it, you can just choose the default answer.

Can I change my mind on my preferences?

Sure! I’ll send a few sample pages after I start working on your book so you can make tweaks and request adjustments before I finish formatting the rest of the book. Maybe you don’t like the drop cap like you thought you did. Or that color you chose looks funky and you want to adjust it. You can change all that when you see the sample pages!

What files will you send me?

Ebook files come in reflowable EPUB files, while print files will be PDFs. You can upload these directly to any publishing platform.
